Dear Right Worshipful Master Once again , We, the 2 French Brethren from GLNF who visited your Lodge on March 18th for the St Andrew Gathering, would like to thank and send our congrats to the Right Worshipful Master, office bearers, and Brethren for the outstanding ceremony, we participated in. We have been honored and thrilled to visit you in the Lodge St Andrew 465. But, more of this, we much appreciated the incredible warm welcome that we got from everyone. We enjoyed every moment, including the Harmony . Furthermore, the tremendous experience we learnt during our masonic trip to Scotland will help us to be better Masons in France . Please forward our congrats to steve (the candidate). We would like to come again later (next St Andrew Gathering ??) , and share again the Fraternity. Needless to say you are most welcome to visit us in the South of France. There are direct and cheap flights from either Glasgow or Edingburgh to Carcassonne if you fly Ryanair. Please let us know. Thank you to forward this message to the Right Worshipful Master, and all the Brethren you feel appropriate in Lodge St Andrew 465. Take care Best fraternel regards Michel BLANC. 4 February 2017 Brethren, I just discovered your webpage and found it very informative. I would like to send my congratulations on your Lodge celebrating 150 years. I’m Thomas Clemons I live in Summerville, South Carolina and I’m a Life member of Summerville Lodge 234. My Grandfather James Halliday Fairley was initiated January 6, 1921 and a Life Member of your lodge. I have some artifacts from St Andrew Lodge 465 that includes his dues payment receipts, Mark Mason certificate and his Lodge apron. If you would like copies of the items I would be happy to send them to you. Sincerely, Thomas Clemons (Tom) 95 King Charles Circle Summerville, SC Email: email@example.com
I came across two old postcard photos of brethren from your lodge. I can email them and see if anyone can shed some light on these. I hope to put this into the lodge's newsletter (The Cross Keys).
